Hazipa Network · Connected Hazard Intelligence

Make every critical warning count.

Hazipa Network is being designed to connect physical roadside safety events with the digital systems and people who can act on them.

One roadside event, shared with the parties who may need to act on it.

What the network could enable

From a physical warning to a coordinated response.

  • Connected Incident Visibility

Turn relevant physical safety events into digital information.

  • Event Coordination

Help authorized operational teams understand and act upon incoming event information.

  • Event Lifecycle

Capture relevant timestamps, status updates and event closure.

  • Interoperability

Connect with existing operational platforms, subject to compatibility and integration arrangements.

Measuring operational performance

A proposed framework for the incident lifecycle.

These prospective metrics are a framework we propose for evaluating connected safety workflows during pilots. They are not established industry standards, and Hazipa does not currently measure them in live deployments.

  1. Time to DetectFrom hazard occurring to the event being recognized.
  2. Time to WarnFrom recognition to relevant parties being informed.
  3. Time to RespondFrom notification to a response being underway.
  4. Time to SafetyFrom response to the scene being made safe.
  5. Time to ClearFrom a safe scene to the event being resolved and closed.

Connected safety is stronger when systems work together.

We're engaging telematics, navigation, assistance and infrastructure partners to explore integration requirements and pilot opportunities.
