About Hazipa

A local start on a global problem.

Hazipa is an emerging South African-founded technology business working on a challenge that every road network shares: critical hazards that the right people cannot yet see.

Our story

Starting with one fundamental challenge.

When a vehicle stops at the roadside, the warning that matters most is often physical: a triangle, a cone, a light. Those measures protect nearby road users, but the people responsible for responding frequently learn about the incident late, and with little context.

We're developing connected safety technology that helps physical hazards become digitally visible — starting with Hazipa Alert, coordinated through Hazipa Network, and supported by fleet and asset intelligence. Our focus is practical: technology that fits existing operations and is validated through pilots.

Mission and vision

Mission

Make critical physical hazards digitally visible and connect the right information to the people who can act.

Vision

A world where every critical hazard and connected asset can communicate what matters, when it matters.

Values

What guides how we build.

  • Safety first

People come before assets, schedules and margins.

  • Practical innovation

Technology earns its place by solving real operational problems.

  • Intelligent integration

Connect what already works instead of replacing it.

  • Operational accountability

Clear signals, clear owners, clear records.

  • Long-term asset value

Decisions that hold up across the full asset lifecycle.

Perspective

Built with a global perspective.

Roadside incidents, temporary hazards and fragmented fleet data are challenges shared by road networks worldwide. We design with that in mind — integration-first thinking and configurable workflows that can adapt to different operating environments, road rules and regulations.

Let's build what's next, together.

Whether you run a fleet, build fleet technology or deliver services to those who do — we'd like to hear from you.
